January 4 & 5 - Parent ski Lessons through Ski School
TBD - BARmade Sweat & Sip - hike and apres beverage with Club parents
TBD - Fireside chat - talk to program directors and athletes on their experience on U program
TBD - Cookie Cup Classic - Chance to experience a full race format for BVQ parents to gain experience in a race centre
TBD - Parent introduction to race techniques and tactics
March 30th - Quadualies for BVQ parents and athletes
April 5th - 57th Annual Bruno Engler Race - hosted by Mt Norquay
April 26th - End of Season Banquet - Athletes in U programs

Officials Updates and Courses 2024

U14,U16,FIS Race Volunteers are required to complete:

FIS - Safe in Sport Training - HOW TO Safe Sport Training - Officials
Registered on Officials Database - https://alpinepoints.ca/officials/login/ - see details below
ALUMNI must be registered with Alberta Alpine - Alberta Alpine : RAMP Registrations

Set up an account on the National Officials database and verify your officials level - https://alpinepoints.ca/officials/login/
If you completed the course after September 2020, your information will NOT be automatically populated
If you use a different email address, that is ok, but will not show up - in this case please send a legacy request to Don Boyce - dlboyce@telusplanet.net
LEGACY REQUEST - Go into profile on alpinepoints.ca. Go under the tab "your certifications" and select Request/Legacy/Equivalency Certification
Select "Make a Request", complete the fields. Select Don Boyce and they will certify. Please include the year you completed the course/approximate, name of course provider.
