Athletes born in 2018
Athletes in this program ski 30-35 days - Saturday and Sunday’s. Aimed towards the U8 athlete that is continuing their development towards ski racing. Athletes maximize time on snow with Technical Free Skiing and race development training gates. Some free skiing days at Lake Louise and Sunshine Village utilizing varied terrain and snow conditions. Athletes will work alongside some U10 athletes and coaches, gaining experience towards BVQ Invitational and an away race.

U10
Athletes born in 2016 and 2017
Athletes ski 40 or 55 days a season. More technical skills will continue to grow within race and free skiing environments. Typical training days include gate training and some technical free skiing. Teams will free ski at Lake Louise and Sunshine Village throughout the season, to expose them to different snow conditions and terrain. More days on snow will show higher level of skill development. Season starts with athletes participating in pre-season conditioning in September. Athletes will work on aspects that will prevent injury and give them a stronger start to the season.
