POLICIES AND CODE OF CONDUCTS

Cold Weather Policy - Q16/Q18/Q22/U8

Should the temperature forecast not reach higher than -20C, programs will be cancelled. NGSL Head Coach will monitor numerous outlets for forecasts considering inversions (warmer temperatures at higher elevation), wind and variable mountain weather.   NGSL Head Coach will communicate to the relevant programs the evening prior as to whether programming will go ahead.

U10/U12/U14/U16/FIS

Program Head Coaches will determine the call for each program individually.  Older athletes can feel the effects of cold and monitor themselves.

*Note we have the advantage of a small resort with options for warming around the mountains.

To be prepared, ensure you athlete is dressed appropriately, with numerous layer, hand and toe warmers.  *Don’t send your Athlete out in their speed suit.

Refunds and/or rescheduled training days are not available for program cancellation due to cold temperature or poor weather.
